Meeting the dynamic needs of the rapidly-changing marketing industry
Bachelor of Business Administration - Marketing (120 credits)
Our curriculum provides you with the necessary theory and strategic thinking, while also providing the hands-on tactical skills you need to succeed in today’s marketplace. With a heavy focus on digital concepts and practices, you'll develop skills that are not just relevant but sought after in today's market. Upon completing your studies, you will be able to manage information using digital technologies and develop strategies that leverage and integrate information into marketing plans.
In addition to our standard marketing curriculum, each student has the option of choosing a marketing specialization that aligns with their interests and career goals. We currently offer three specializations that focus on newer marketing principles and concepts: Digital Marketing and Advertising, Marketing Technology, and Value Chain.
Focusing on the digital realm, this specialization is for students who want to apply their marketing knowledge to all things internet. Learn the theory that drives online marketing decisions, becomes proficient in digital principles and strategies and discover how to analyze and apply web-based data to online brands.
If you want to put your marketing expertise to work right away, our marketing technology specialization is a great option for you. Learning the ins and outs of image editing applications, web authoring applications, social media, and more, you'll gain an understanding of how to apply your marketing knowledge to the world around you. And since you'll be working with tools that are currently being used in the industry, you'll be a step ahead of your peers when it comes time to start your career.
"Value Chain" describes the range of activities businesses go through to bring a product from conception to its end use and beyond. In our value chain specialization, you'll gain an understanding of how different marketing channels work together as well as proficiency in working with and for other businesses to produce results.
